Wildlife 1

I've been going through my photo collection and found that I had a lot of "wildlife" pictures among them.  These range from tiny insects through to amphibians, reptiles and birds.

We're still going through our long, hot, dry summer, and the garden isn't looking too good at the moment!  So instead of new flowers, I thought I'd do a series of posts ( Read more... )

Once again, Maewyn, I'm amazed by the exquisite precision of these shots. Those bees! Even the spiders are ... interesting. ;) Although I don't think I could have coped taking the picture of the redback.

Isn't it fascinating what lives alongside us, though often is too small to see?

Thank you! I just love getting in close. You can see so much more detail.

That redback had taken up residence inside the wheel space of Laurie's car. It went to "another place" after the photo was taken! :)

I've always had a fascination with the natural world around me. It probably came from spending my childhood years on a vineyard where there were plenty of bugs, spiders and reptiles (even snakes) around!
