I still haven't gotten around to watching Ponyo, but I found the storyboard book of Mimi wo sumaseba in my school library as I was looking for more serious books on the history of Okinawan art and such... I didn't know such things even existed. Very cool.

I didn't either, until I found that blog post! Very cool indeed, it's neat that they release them.

You should definitely watch Ponyo! It's adorable! Sure, it's proof that Miyazaki has finally gone completely bonkers... but with a guy like Miyazaki, going completely bonkers isn't an altogether bad thing! And the resulting movie is great!! (:

I'm not at all surprised that our lovely LJ hostess here is a Ponyo fan, either. It's about as maetel as a thing can possibly get. (:
