Have you tried removing the cables from the printer? Sounds weird, but sometimes an image gets "stuck" in the buffer and the only way to clear it is to removed the cables. Want to borrow my printer?

yea the cables that can be removed, have been removed before, couple times actually. I donno where in the hell it could be storing this info. I can't find any sort of reset button for it though...

sometimes there is a button pushing sequence that will reset it. You will have to google it and check some forums.
