This past weekend we drove up to Muir Woods to walk among Redwoods 300 feet tall. It was amazing and lovely. The sun filtering down through such great heights, and so sparsely that you notice and are surprised and pleased by its presence... looking up and seeing these tall, narrow trees swaying in the wind, knowing how tall they are but not
