A Quick Review.
The Facts Were These:
Chuck: "You touch murder victims. You ask who killed them. You touch them again, they go back to being dead and then you collect the reward?"
Ned: "That's it in a nutshell."
Narrator: A forensic fairytale filled with love, mystery and a touch of magic.
The Characters:
Ned the Pie-Maker. Owns the Pie Hole. Can wake the dead.
The Rules:
Only 60 seconds or some equivalent exchange sh*t is gonna go down.
Keep a dead thing alive for more than a minute. And something else has to die.
First touch life. Second touch dead again for ever.
Ned learns to work around this little problem though.
Back to The Characters:
Charlotte "Chuck" Charles. She and Ned were childhood sweethearts.
He alived again her. Awwwww.
Digby. Alived again by Ned. Generally adorably amazing.
Emerson Cod. A snarky PI. Who knits.
Olive Snook. Waitress at the piehole. Breaks out in song from time to time.
Vivian & Lily Charles. Chuck's Aunts. Formerly the Darling Mermaid Darlings.
The Reasons:
1. Amazing characters.
2. Ned & Chuck. Their love is like pie. I'm not sure what this means but it sounds cool.
Chuck: "What do you need to be happy?"
Ned: "You."

Chuck: I'd kiss you if it wouldn't kill me.
3. Ned's Expressions.
Ned:"Well, it's pretty much I bake pies and wake the dead. I live a very sheltered life."
4. Undercover capers & playing dress up.
Emerson: "We're going undercover. And by undercover I mean under no circumstances are you to reveal any factual information about your person."
5. Making plastic wrap really hot.
Chuck: "So a kiss is out of the question?"
Ned: "I've lost my train of thought."
6. Making death slightly more amusing than it should be.
Bernard Slaybeck:"Is that God?"
7.It's adorkable.
Ned: "I wanted to be a Jedi."

Chuck: "You're like Winnie the Pooh. Gimme your paws, Pooh."
8.The pretty colors.
PD World: *looks pretty*
9. Generates pie cravings.
I'm pretty sure I've eaten more pie in the time span of watching Pushing Daisies then I've in my whole life.
Olive: It's from the Pie Hole from across the street. As in "shut your", but one sweet whiff and people usually want to "open their".
9 & 1/2. Did I mention the characters?
Alfredo Aldarisio: "Then I would love you in any way I could. And if we could not touch, then I would draw strength from your beauty. And if I went blind, then I would fill my soul with the sound of your voice and the contents of your thoughts until the last spark of my love for you lit the shabby darkness of my dying mind."
