I love the immediacy of a digital, but I miss the control I had with my old SLR, and without having to read an 800-page manual!

It is indeed! XD I do better with close-ups than distance, atm. I need a better telephoto lens... and I *really* want a macro lens X3 (As in, magnification lens... you can take pic of insect eyes with them X333)

This is a digital SLR, so, I can pretty much control everything under the sun X3. But yeah... I only know how to use about 20% of the features. I need my friend to give me another run down on how to use it. XD (She's nearly done with her photography degree, and is also a fan of canon :D)
