I hope this letter gets to you. I wasn't sure if you'd still be in the shire when they all arrived, but I thought you might stay for a while before going the rest of the way to Mithlond.

Have you visited your grandmother's gravesite, and the farm she lived on those last months? I know when I went there for the funeral, it was comforting for me to see where she lived, and know that she'd at least been happy for a while before she died.

I don't know what else you're planning for this trip, but try not to make trouble for Idril. Not to nag or anything. See you when you get home.
