The private sector needs tons more people with your professed skillset. Are there MA programs at other institutions that may be better suited toward your needs? As I'm sure you realize full well by now, working on building upon your strengths is far more valuable (and fun!) than trying to compensate for weakness.

(On a slight aside, what are your thoughts on Tufte?)
