I've got a substantive but largely uncheery update. I'm sitting here in what can be best described as a European hostel abutting Seattle's University of Washington, in the middle of a three-day Aikido Kokikai seminar. My bad. The University of Washington computer systems are filtered
to prevent access to .com sites. I'm getting around this by SSHing
into harper.uchicago.edu from a Java applet on a .edu site and
using Lynx (a text based browser) to check my livejournal. Hence,
my leetness suffers a DC penalty of -10. That comment was actually
meant for Cat Scharon.

I hate that icon. Please stop using it, or I'm going to un-friend you on livejournal.

Here's hoping for an incomplete! Or perhaps you could miraculously are able to learn the stats and computer code that you need to turn in the 2 missing assignments by Tuesday. Or consider another option - what would Gus the Eviscerator do? Exactly! He would rampage through the faculty offices, intimidating the faculty into giving you a break. Maybe he would bring cupcakes/jesus muffins a back up plan. Good luck.
