Wow. I knew Bruce Willis was divisive, but I didn't realize that much. I'm not going to ask you to give it another try, because I hate when people ask me to give things I hate another try - like The Mexican, the really bad Brad Pitt movie that I still can't believe I've sat through, or that Chinese Food Stand behind the Starbucks in Freeport - but I am a little sad. Not disappointed - just sad.
Well, the Rickman is less pudgy than he is now (granted, twenty years later, and has it really been twenty years?!), and the goatee is pretty nice, but there's probably not enough Rickman to make it worth it. I'm not a huge fan of Bruce Willis, but I enjoy movies where things blow up randomly, and I like that McClane gets cut and blown up (much in the same way I like Daniel Craig's James Bond, although I will admit that has a more carnal aspect to it, and that comment may have been some TMI. Sorry.)
As for An Awfully Big Adventure, I'd never heard of it, but I guess I shouldn't watch it for fear of scarring?
