Changed my mind. I'm spending hours on an overlong hook on a story I haven't even written. I'll just wait for her opening pages workshop, if she ever does it.

Sigh. Maybe I should focus on actually finishing stories first.

Actually, I haven't written the first page of GODDESS PROJECT. I've got it outlined, but that's it. But unless you have a really strong sense of where the story will go, I agree, wait. She'll do the opening pages one soon enough :) I JUST sent mine off...I'm terrified!

i still might apply, but i don't know if I'll be able to go (if accepted, of course). my family has this idea to do a road trip from New York to Chicago and if that goes through then I won't have time to do Alpha =( I still really want to go, though, and this would be the last year that I can.
