Aww! <3
I loved the description at the beginning. And this:

“Hey babe,” Chase calls after her, following obediently down the hall with Rachel securely in his grasp. “We should get some of these little animal towel thingies for the baby.”

was the cutest thing ever.
I'm so glad you wrote a baby!Chameron fic, because really, there just aren't enough.

Thanks so much! Glad you liked it :)

You're right, there aren't enough baby!CC fics... but maybe that's because it was a foreign, OOC-type idea until recently. Maybe as we all start getting more familiar with the idea of it in canon, it will become a more typical concept to write about.

I'm fairly confident that a baby plot might actually happen in S6. Around sweeps, maybe? But, I dunno, I don't think they'll actually have a baby for a while.

I've actually started writing a baby!fic. But it's been about three weeks and I'm about 2 paragraphs in. I've been way too busy.

I'm also fairly confident that a baby plot will happen this season, and, like you, I sort of expect it during sweeps. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that expects a baby plot but also doesn't think they'll actually have a baby for a while, LOL. If I were on the writing staff, I'd be pitching a miscarriage plot, honestly. I know it's horrible and nothing to take lightly, but I think it could be such an emotional and outstanding plot to explore. It's kind of fucked up how badly I want that story to happen in S6 canon, and I think there's a good possibility it might ( ... )

I loved it!

It was exploding with cuteness and fluff and those "awww" moments that I enjoy so much!

Bravo! :)

Hee, thank you! Yeah, when you throw a baby into the mix there's always some nice potential for fluffy moments! Especially with newlyweds!

This was really cute. It clearly brought back memories of babysitting where you try everything you can think of to calm the baby and the feelings of frustration when you're not sure what to do.

I loved when Chase called Cameron "Babe" and when they wrapped Rachel in the duckling towel. Very clever. :)

Thanks for reviewing! <3

Yeah, I actually work in the infant room at a preschool and have babysitting infants since I was 9 years old (I'm now 26). I've worked as a private nanny for newborns several times since I got out of high school. So pretty much every detail about childcare and the blessings/struggles that go along with it came from my experiences through the years. I don't claim to be excellent at many things in life, but if there's one thing I'm confident in knowing, it's babies and how to take care of them in any situation. That made writing this all the more fun/easy and I hope added a sense of realism to the piece.

Gah, I was so happy when Chase called her "Babe" in Saviors, thus making my favorite nickname canon :) Now I just use it as much as possible because we know for a fact that he uses it, LOL. Oh, if only he'd call her "Allison/Ally" in canon now so that we can make that one official, too...

Aww, I love it! That is so adorable (and I love that you added a tiny bit of angst there :D )

Yay, thanks! I love when you love things! :) And yes, I wanted to make the base issue their own insecurities and fears about impending parenthood, rather than just an "Adventures in Babysitting" type of story, so it seemed crucial to throw in a bit of angst and make them both completely uncertain of whether or not they actually wanted to be parents, if only for just a brief moment.

Because really, if/when they do a baby plot on the show... it wouldn't be realistic to me if they didn't both have moments of weakness and doubt about it all, ya know?
