Man, sounds like an amazing time! I'm impressed you remember the set list so well - I've never been able to do that at concerts. And I like the photos - they have that authentic, crazy concert vibe.
Thanks so much for your write up :) I heard some of the show broadcast on Radio 2, but was disappointed that it wasn't live, though the show was live from the Roundhouse (that's a bit screwed up, isn't it?). You should listen to Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie's show on Radio 2 so you can hear the interview that one of them (don't know which one) did with Paul. It's interspersed in little bits, along with some of the live tracks.
Live and Let Die was definitely my favorite that I heard. I wish that they hadn't shut the cameras off so we could have heard Lady Madonna, which is one of my favorites.
I'm so jealous (but happy) that you got to go to the iTunes festival and the Electric Proms! At least I've seen him live twice :)
I didn't know that the iTunes festival was on TV! I wonder if it was only broadcast in Europe...or if I can find videos somewhere... YouTube/Veoh/Daily Motion/Trooker to the rescue!
*saw on TV?* It looked like a much bigger place on TV...or you were close? Anyway, neat! You sound like you had so much fun. The concert experience is just awesome, period. I'm sure you had more fun there than I did watching the highlights on TV.
