40ºC... anyone interested???

We are going through a very hot period over here... Today when I was outside to have lunch, I saw it was 40ºC!! I felt like I was being cooked on a giant oven, even on the shade. :( I like warm weather, but this is a bit too much. Thankfully I have A/C at work and my home isn't too warm.

Ok, break is off, back to work now...

You could share some of that with us. Send us, let's say, 8 degrees, so we'll have 25C and you'll have 32C... More bearable, right? I hope it cools a bit there soon!

Sure!! :D I could even give you 10ºC!!! Now, I only have to figure out how I can do that :P It seems that such a hot weather will remain for a few days... but I'm spending the weekend at the beach, where it's more bearable since I can be on the water (that is not THAT warm :D) all the time.

Hope you'll not melt either! This is just a heat wave that is hitting Portugal at the moment, but do get prepared for hot weather in Spain...
Btw, last night was signing a few slams and there was one you made for Jennee :) After having seen all the pics from your meetings, it was cool to sign it :)

It was a A5 slam with a girl with curly hair on the cover, there were questions in the beginning, then sign ifs and in the end a part where we had to make our symbol if we didn't like what you wrote. I plan on sending it on next week :)

Yes, I can imagine... I wonder about "poor" tourists who are outside most of the time with this weather...

Raining isn't nice either, even though we really need it (it has hardly rained here this year).

It's the same here...we last had such a hot summer in 2003...remember? You and the girls got to experience that ;) And I remember how surprised you were to feel how warm the seawater was ;) Well, once again we are in the same situation, it's so hot I feel as you said, inside a oven!

He, he... sure I remember that very hot summer! I'd never sweat so much in my life! When I was in Seville, the summer before, I had experienced 42/43ºC, but I was there only for a day.
Yes, the warm seawater in Italy surprised me a lot since it was the first time I bathed at the Mediterranean Sea and I didn't remember about that fact. This weekend I'll be going to one of the beaches that has the warmest seawater since it's just next to Spain, so we still get a bit of Mediteranean water once in a while. But still, the water is cool and great for refreshing :)
Let's hope this weather will cool down a bit VERY soon! :P
