and poke around (as if you have time). My impression of Fictionwise is that it is winding down, but I hope I'm wrong. I've heard good and bad from Smashwords. Baen Books always gets good reviews, so you might want to check them out too.

I love ebooks, btw. I have a tiny house so it is a great solution.

So sorry about losing your writing. As an electrical engineer, I can verify that computers are out to get us all. I'm rather obsessive about backing stuff up, but something can always go wrong...

I love Baen, though TCBP is tricky since it's only a little over 30,000 words. As solely an e-book, though, maybe this wouldn't be as much of an issue.

As for the losing of the writing, that was completely my fault. The computer and flash drive did exactly what I told them to do, which in my rush was exactly the wrong thing.

Nuts--I don't know how I missed this, but Piers Anthony has the same impression of Fictionwise on his e-book list that you do.
