FLAIL. INCOHERENCE. FLAIL. SO MUCH JARLOS FLUFF I LOVE IT. i was reading this biting my lip, just trying not to squeal too loudly lest i freak out my relatively sane roommate.

Carlos had started a small fire in the clearing they had made, the way his brothers had taught him. James was a little leery, but Carlos' brother was a fireman. And James had lit the match.

HA this is fantastic! so long as james has everything under control, everything's slightly better and less prone to disaster than if it's only carlos.

James was always a little startled by Carlos' sincerity and the way it made his heart pound like it would break through the muscles of his chest.

EEEEE. HE LOVES CARLOS SO MUCHHH.

For the sake of warmth, they were laying with their sides flush against each other. For the sake of warmth, James repeated over and over in his head. But Carlos was mumbling happy words in his sleep and curling father into James.ohhhh this image does something to my insides. they'd be the cutest (and most attractive) couple to see exhibit pda I ( ... )

I'm so sorry for the incredibly late comment, but, oh my gosh. Thank you for the review. Thank you for reading, actually! Also, I love that you took some meta from this fic. That's absolutely why I love BTR fic. Because even on fic that the writer puts relatively little meta thought into not as much because there aren't any, but I suppose it's just my head canon? readers can still get more than pure fluff. Except this fic is actually just pure fluff, so just getting that would be okay too. :P

That is basically how I feel every time I watch the show. And I wanted to write unresolved UST. Because it's hard for me not to just throw them in the tent and yell at them to use protection and stuff. :D

Aww, thank you so much for reading.
And yes. James and Carlos have reasonably little foresight. Which is something I adore about them. And just... Carlos is Carlos and James is James and the past cannot be important or they don't even function properly.

this has become a sort of meta tangent. Idk your fic always makes me think meta thoughts about the characters because there are these perfect details, and I'm just like hey that fits exactly into my head canon! And I love it.
