Glastonbury !

Heya folks,

In 2 days time I am off to Glastonbury. As it's my firtst time to a more than one day festival (although I've done the Gathering a few times) I'm after hints and tips for things to take with, do when I get there etc.

Any helpfull comments greatly appreciated :)

Off the top of my head a couple of randoms..

Camp somewhere that's near stuff, but not TOO near, and NEVER right next to a path or you will get trampled and pissed on. Loo roll and torches are essential, as are babywipes for a daily wash!

Take earplugs, a torch and toilet paper. Babywipes do indeed rock for washing. I used to take canned peaches to festivals, they're nice in the morning and give you a bit of a sugar rush. If you can manage a collapsible chair thats a godsend too! Glastonbury has a higher ratio of wankers than a lot of other festivals so keep your valuables with you at all times as there's a lot of theft there.

I'd also say don't rush to get out of the festival - chill out in the final morning and take it easy.

Know where your Towel is.

A hard glasses case so you don't roll over on top of them in the night and end up unsighted for the rest of the fest.
A good stash of pocket tissues - cause you may leave your loo roll at the tent but if you're popping off to see bands it's easier to carry packs of tissues you can use when needed, than carry a whole loo roll with you (may be more of a concern for any lady friends admittedly but there you go).
Some way of chaining your wallet or money holder to you.
