Thoughts on Thomas (Skins 4.01)

• I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Thomas anymore. He was always in the background for me, but I loved what a good guy he was, no matter how crappy his life got. Now...I'm a bit of a flip-flopper, I suppose. Some of his actions seemed entirely understandable given the situations. And some, I just didn't get. By the way, his "You did it first."

Oh, Thomas. I love him but this episode just made me grind my teeth. I do like that they've given him a bit of personality and made him as angsty as all the other characters, haha, but yeah. Dick. I love him with Panda, they're so cute. But I'm glad she didn't just say they could start over again, again.
All the Panda-hating makes me sad. She's a bit ridiculous and they play it up, yeah, but I don't think she's too childlike. If anything I think she's starting to mature a bit. The scene with her and Thomas's mother made me lol so much.
Naomi makes it for me every time. I love love love her. I'm hopeless for Naomily so, I'm excited about that.
I've never cared much about Katie, she kind of scares me :P I guess I'm destined to forever be in the minority with my likes and dislikes. But I do hope she gets more screen time that doesn't just involve her being a massive bitch, that's unfair to her.
I love JJ. So much. He's adorable and hilarious and I agree with what you said, every time he talks it makes me happy.

Oh I agree about everything! JJ saved the day. So did Effy and the only good thing was really the music!

I completely argee with most of your points here. I enjoyed the episode, but never really felt particularly connected to it, you know? I do like Thomas but I kind of just wanted to be shown what the others were getting up to.

And what you said about Pandora becoming more childlike? Yes! It's like that's all she is now. "Oh, this is Panda and she's kooky and naive and a bit silly, isn't that amazing?" Well yeah, for one episode maybe, now I want to see something a bit more.

JJ was my favourite thing about the epi as well, my love for him continues to grow. Oh and the new headteacher guy is Chris Addison, who I love. He's a very funny comedian and is all sorts of amazingness. So happy to see him in Skins!
