A Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

It hit me yesterday morning that the weather's changing and the days are getting shorter, and I kind of panicked. Fall used to be my favorite season, and I told myself I would enjoy it this year instead of hating it because it heralds winter. But yesterday, it wasn't easy. I need to figure out what I'm doing, because I can't winter here alone

My biggest fear about August is that I realize that I have had no "firsts" this year. I would like to say that 2010 was the first year in which I accomplished something.
