I am now armed for Friday with wine gums and hot chocolate (with marshmallows to float in).

For those few who are brave enough to still be on LJ - what's your Harry Potter snack of choice?

ETA: You people are making me hungry. :B

I have to chew alot of gum between HP time and now.

I am going as Alice Longbottom, and I'm going to have a pocket full of gum wrappers, and hand them out to people randomly.

You know, they have wine gummies in the ethnic food aisle at one of the stores I go to... I've always thought about buying some. (Yes, there's a British section in the ethnic food aisle.)

Apparently we're going to try and make s'mores at the midnight party... But um, generally I just read and not snack. The snacks distract me.

LMAO @ ETHNIC BRITISH FOOD.

"The world knows of the singular mundaneness of British cuisine, and so in sympathy has found it proper to attribute the brewing of tea to the island. Which is, after all, simply knowing how to boil water."

There is an art to tea, Benn. AN ART. ;D You've got to get the tea kettle off the burner just before it whistles or the water will be too hot and make your tea bitter.

But no, seriously. The British section is pretty darn big. After the Mexican and Italian sections, it's the biggest. Then there's a whole Asian section, a French section, a German section, a Scadinavian section, A CREOLE SECTION (wtf), and... um... Jewish? Yes. It's pretty cool. The Brit section has a lot of good stuff in it.

Cigarettes and Dr. Pepper, with Twizzlers. (I'd get Curly Wurlys, except I can't get them without paying horrible import prices.)

I didn't know you smoke, dear Benn! :D *feels less guilty* I smoke socially (but the smoking ban's put a stop to that) or when I'm stressed. I'm sure I'll find DH stressful enough. :B

Dr. Pepper, Twizzlers - good choices. :) *hugs*

Like a feckin' chimney, luff!

There's a similar smoking ban in the District, and it's caused the sidewalks to become a downright carcinogenic affair. Completely mindless.

I love Twirls. They are the conservative version of the Flake. All plain and demure on the outside and one bite, BAM! the way this baby crumbles is more beautiful than words can express :D

Aaah yes, Twirls are nice. I'm rather fond of Galaxy, actually - are you familiar?
