When we cover up guilt with irreverence to God, our life becomes unlivable.
Guilt that we cover with pride, makes our life unjustifiable.
Covering guilt with fear, our life becomes unbearable.

Guilt that surrenders to Grace is forgivable.

I hate my body.
Everyone says it looks fine, but I know they lie, and it hurts, because I just want people to tell the truth.
I say I won't comform to their standards, but really I worship the fake, airbrushed, perfection of models.

I've always thought it was cool that you were a Christian, even though at first I thought you were like every other contemporary Christian kid. But once I got to know you, I know that's not what you're about.

I don't get you. And sometimes I think you don't want me to get you. You make me feel great sometimes, and other times you make me feel like crap. Lately, it's been more crap.
