Wow! That was amazingly insightful. Flea is an interesting and quirky character, and in 500 words you managed to add a layer of depth that was barely even hinted at in the game.

And he is hollow, a shell formed around something that has long since died and rotted.

That was my favourite line. Thanks for sharing this! :D

Flea is not so secretly my favourite NPC, and I find him endlessly fascinating. The lack of a canon backstory just makes me even more interested, because it gives me a lot of freedom when writing him.

Glad you liked!

woah. Very interesting. It's easy to dismiss Flea, but, as leasspell_dael pointed out, you've added a layer of depth to the character that's frankly fascinating. :-)

I love exploring minor characters, and I've developed a rather strong Flea-voice during my time in the fandom (ten years now!). Because he's a bit of a blank slate, there's a lot of potential there.

Thank you for commenting!

Super late comment is late, but I just read this and I really loved it! Flea is such a great character and it's awesome to see fic that explores his character.

Thank you!

I love writing minor characters, because they have so much potential. And Flea's just plain fun to write, too.
