Saw the Decemberists, which is not a good story, but is worth remembering and being glad for. ( It was a sweet show and a beautiful night )

I will never get tired of you talking about Decemberists shows (or their music, or Colin's depression beard, or that adorable way Nate Query bops along the stage in his own little world, or or or). If you wanted to do that for pages and pages and pages, I wouldn't be sad.

I wish I could find a copy of the little intro they got the mayor of Portland to record that they played in front of the Boston and Philly shows. There was this whole bit about closing your eyes and imagining yourself in a misty Pacific Northwest forest when in front of you appear...the Decemberists. Cue music. I will find it! And then you will listen to it. And it will be grand.
