Your list made me happy :-) I'm so glad that things are falling into place for you and Tyler. Yay!

Also, I have a Christmas card for you guys, but not your new address. Can you email me your address? It's lauradiller (at) gmail.com... Regular "at" sign, though. You know what I mean. The @ thing.

Aw. yay. See here for address.

Consider 'see James and Laura!' on this list too. I knew I forgot something.

2 locations near-ish to you, depending on wether you want a new bike or a used bike.

http://velocipedebikeproject.org
- (used bikes, and they run repair and riding clinics)

http://www.lightstcycles.com
- (new bikes, independently owned, is where we're getting the tandem from)

One recommendation on pricing, tho', right now shops will have their 2008 models on clearance, sometimes for half price. In March they'll all be 2009 models, everybody will be trying to buy one for cheap and the 2008 discount stuff will be gone, and it'll be more expensive.

The Waverly Farmer's market on 33rd St is good, and there's the big one down under where 83 hits the city, both on Saturday mornings. The corner of Sisson and 28th (right near the 83 exit) has a farmer's market type store, but I don't remember the name or the hours. Super helpful!

I love that you didn't tag this particular post 'amateur grown-up,' I think that you well on your way to journeyman status.

And, I just bought myself roses and good wine--Roses were 2 for 1 for 'cottage roses' I bought a bunch of deep red and a bunch of deep yellow--both smell like roses. And Malbec wine, my new favourite, woody and inky and smelling like blackberry bushes after the rain and Argentine cowboys...

Have a wonderful new years eve, and an even better New Year.

Love you
