Been mostly in bed since crashing unexpectedly early Saturday night. And by ‘crashing unexpectedly early’ I mean ‘getting real sleepy and trying not to fall asleep while Jeff made me watch Flight of the Conchords until like 1am.’ In case you’re unaware, Flight of the Conchords (and Jeff) is awesome

I loved Children of Men mostly for all of the details on the side that were only nominally important to the central storyline. You know, the sort of details that most movies and shows completely strip from production because they are a 'waste'.

Like the advertisements, the public service announcements, the wandering armed folk in the camps... what their banners said. What they screamed and chanted. What the graffiti said. Music styles. Etc.
