I think they are both terrifically fake. They'd probably make a good couple in that regard.

I'm pretty sure someone said their storyline is not over yet. Matthew, possibly in an interview. Of course, what that actually means is anyone's guess.

I get the feeling that something will happen later this season.

I like Pete/Peggy even though I don't like Pete all that much. And I have mixed feelings about these two getting back together. There might be a bit too much baggage and if Peggy gets more success at SC(or somewhere else, who knows) Pete might get resentful and jealous(we all know how he is). Even so, I still hold some hope in my heart that these two will come together once again.

But yes, when Pete caught fainting!Peggy in the lawnmower scene I squeed. It was so fleeting but so very cute. :D
