i'm excited for you to come visit! it's been too long. we haven't seen you in what - two months? i don't think there are any more visits planned beyond March. we'll have to think of something to draw you back.
what time do you think you'll be getting into town on friday? i'm not sure what movie we'll go see that night, but this i do know - we are going out for Indian food friday night.
They say Friday afternoon should be good weather, so depending on when I can leave work and what I do between here and there, I could roll in at Seven in the Pee (but don't hold me to it). And speaking of weather, this weekend looks fan-flippin'-tastic. It'll definately trump the weather the last time I visited.
Guess we'll just have to figure out what concerts are landing in the next few months. That seem to be the best bet in drawing me down to the big city. And maybe there will be an actual going-away party for J. You know I'd make the trip for that...being that I already have!
I purchased and have listened to Albert Hammond, Jr.'s efforts. I do think I'm going to enjoy hearing his stuff live. Sometimes I just dig the sugar-coated pop. Have you given it a spin yet?
yes, there will be an actual going away something for J. i'm not sure when or what, but i imagine it will be a weekend long affair that will require you to visit.
i have not listened to Albert Hammond, Jr. yet. i was thinking about picking it up today when i go to get Modest Mouse and LCD Soundsystem, but Lorin discouraged me. i usually rip albums from him, and only when it's an album of a band that i really like do i buy my own copy (see: Bloc Party, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Arcade Fire) or if it something new that is amazing and is a must own. this past weekend i bought Peter Bjorn and John. i really like it.
