Thank you for being one of the few who honestly understand the frustrations of “get better soon” and similar well meaning comments. I think you know what I mean!!

That's very nice of you to say. Yes, it is a reality that some people just keep enduring pain. To a lot of others, it might seem inconvenient to deal with them, as if they are being stubbourn or stupid, or something.

Platitudes are more like dinner plates than airplanes.

Hi! Thank you for being around. You are a valued reader. I hope your pain is less thes days, but it's probably not. I noticed that the three people who responded to this post were all overwrought with pain or other difficulties. Which probably means you have some idea of where I'm at, in some ways. I aprreciate that. Although, I still have a small degree of suspicion that you might be a relative who is spying on me.

Why else would you be interested in so much of what I have to say? Well, we have similar environments. I grew up some miles to your east, and live some miles to your west, and we both endure the hegemony of monolythic Chicago.

Lol I assure you I am not related to you nor am I spying on you. Fortunately I am in remission from my illness and have been for years. 17 meds a day down to zero and working full time. I now live in NW PA. That’s a quick update. I keep reading just because I like to. Be well.

I've consdiered moving outside of Pittsburgh. Nice, cheap, fairly safe. I do like your area, as well.
