Forgetting Russell Brand

Some may agree, some may disagree, but it's fun to listen to all sides.  I like presenting liberals like Greenwald and RFKjr. with opposing views to liberals, and conservatives who are not climate or LGBT deniers to conservatives.  Because the truth does not belong to one party.  Partisans are generally half right and half wrong.  And they have to ( Read more... )

Some very interesting points and mostly an enjoyable listen.

I find Shapiro's voice a bit off-putting. I imagine it has something to do with his profession, short, quick burst, phrases said as single words is sharp, crisp peltings like automatic gunfire.

I forgot about that, his voice. In fact, his rapid-fire yapping is pretty unique for radio talk. It can take getting used to if one wants to. I will also say that a lot of Jewish guys can be like this, in my experience. They talk so fast and hard that they seem intelligent, and they generally are, but they can skip right over points that should be considered, or they miss out by not really contemplating while speaking. Instead, it is an urgency to be or appear right constantly. And, often, stupid things are said, in an attempt to bolter this appearance, when in fact they are just stupid things, and people need to call them out. But that's not all the time. More often, Ben is on the right track.
