Listened to this while working this morning. The Western, and in particular the American secular culture of capitalistic gain at all costs is so toxic. The greedy individual is often blind to the destructive forces of their actions.

I believe the only things we take with us is our knowledge and memories.

Have you ever seen the movie "Greedy?"

I am sorry I haven't gotten to some of your comments. And this is a great one. Reposting! You are absolutely right.

I don't see capitalism so much, I see more the psychological stuff behind it instead these days. I think capitalism can be fine in a moral society.

It appears that something in us - what we experience and learn - does persist in the universe and across time.

I will watch "Greedy" tonight, hopefully. Thanks!

I am often so late in responding to comments I am not put out at all by others being so.

Yes, I don't see capitalism itself as an evil, but the "gain at all costs" is the issue. The whole spend a dollar to save a dime that often shoots you in the foot because you end up destroying and exploiting instead of maintaining for sustainability. If there is higher morality involved keeping greed checked back, capitalism is just fine.

I hope you enjoy the movie!
