Colin Firth is great. I recently watched him in "Genius" recently, about Thomas Wolfe. Worth seeing. But he is not the same as he was. His giant glasses in his Wikipedia page are bizarre, lol.
I often like 'girlie' movies, and that was so for Bridget Jones #1. I believe I thought #2 was not as good. I would not watch #3 because I am too afraid to sit for long watching what has become of Renee Zellwegger's sourpuss mouth. #1 was cute, fun and invigourating, as I recall.
TV is prolly worse than movies, in that respect.
It is good to catch these duplications, esp. for writers, even though I, too, tend to forget about them a lot later. I think I might do "Mean Girls," 'by-the-numbers', some time - and mention a few of the teen movies redundancies I know - like at the beginning of many of them, there is the tour of the various different cliques.

I’ve been noticing that in tv shows too. Same jokes and even scene ideas. I can’t think of any examples atm (brain fog).
But, I’ve rewatched Bridget Jones 1&2 lately. Downloaded from Netflix! Fallen in love with Colin Firth all over again :p

Brain fog - another possible sign of FMS, yo.
