I never knew, but there's a natural one in Australia too that's apparently been burning for around 6000 years. Burning Mountain, underground coal seam fire. I think it's too deep to be dangerous though. But then the whole place is a nature reserve.

Hell is really not that far below us.

Hey, thanks for that. The page has links I'll edit in here.

I don't know where these fires get their oxygen.

Also - we may not be so dif after all. https://ancient-code.com/lost-continent-scientists-find-parts-north-america-australia/

I'm glad you are feeling better after a few days ago. I still want to comment on that post tho - I have just been so massively ill.

Amazing all that can happen on just one planet over billions of years hey, and most of it we'll never know. I never stop being astounded by the stuff we find out though.

It comes and goes in waves, but thanks :) I hope you can feel some respite from your ills soon too.

Really.

Our lives are full of such amazing, important stuff, and yet we are nothing compared to the span of time.

If we can have such magic in our own experiences, then just think of how magical everything else beyond us can be. I think we would do well to take this into account in everything we do. Yes?

Thanks.
