I'm going to have to read that article later. My cousin came back from Desert Storm with a "condition". At the time the army wouldn't acknowledge it existed. Never mind he left a healthy young man, and came back balding, sick, and crazy. Even though he eventually killed himself long after he was out of the army, I still believe he was a casualty of the First Gulf War.

GWI is fucking terrible in every way, including political. Your friend's sad example underlines this.

The article is mainly for scientific understanding. It is a set-up for future enquiries into CFS. You don't really have to read it. It's just there. My journal is really an ongoing reference resource, except for all the fun or personal stuff.
