The eclipse excuse was bogus. The tides weren't any weirder than usual around here.

Too bad I like the local sockeye salmon better.

OK so now you got me questioning something. The eclipse involves a NOT-full moon - but I think that there is a full-moon kind of pull, due to the allignment. Were your tides similar to those during a full moon, or do you know? or were they the same as during a non-moon? This is just a little thing I have wanted to know for a long time.

AND - if you do comment - here is this question: In my fish post, were you able to see two big pics of fish? because, my computer/internet is telling me that these are not visible(!)

I don't know. I just was listening to a local scientist talk about the eclipse tides and the likelihood of it causing the fish spill.

I can see both fish just fine.
