The dog sitting next to me right now is definitely not an elf. He's a grumpy asshole. He growled at me once for petting him.

actually - I wonder what the problem is. I have no particulars. Maybe Seattle is the problem. Maybe you are the elf. The Only Elf in Seattle, by Meow Mensteen.

It's been a long time since I had a dog who might growl at me. All dogs after that have been great, albeit stubborn sometimes. One dog accidentally bit my hand while she was in a rage against something else. But, dogs do have their own personalities.

Personally, before things get out of hand, you should eat your dog.

Too bad it's my neighbor's dog. He pays my daughter to take care of it when he's out of town.
