The "Simpsons" episode linked here was actually a pretty good one. (When I heard about that cruise ship from hell earlier this year, I thought about that episode.)

i added taht link thinking of you. i'm not sure if i've seen the episode. i think there was some similar movie - the andromeda strain - or was that water world..
