Car shopping for fun and profit

So, I haven't ventured on to Fandom Wank yet. Just from reading my flist, to me it seems that the Potterdammerung isn't so wankish as we might have expected. Of course, if I dipped a toe into any forums (Portkey, for example) I might change that assessment.

I have heard that certain factions are upset about ( spoilers )

I really like the look of the Vibe. I've got a Pontiac (Aztek), which I love and plan to drive as long as I can.

Congrats on car shopping!

Just wanted to let you know that yeah in the book Harry & Ginny are married - I just finished reading that part like five minutes ago. It says something about the five Potters walking towards Ron & Hermione - so that would be Lily, James, Albus, Ginny and Harry - Five Potters

Congrats. :)

note re: the Caliber - we had one assigned to us as a rental for a business trip chazpure took that I accompanied her on. It had better gas mileage than our BMW compact. It went from Vegas to Los Angeles on a single tank of gas. It was also very roomy, which we appreciated since we often need to transport the pets, plus our stuff. We decided after that trip that if we got a windfall or won the lotto or something, that we'd get a Caliber.

I drove the Matrix and was amazed to discover that the Matrix and the Vibe are the exact same car with slightly different body styling.

Indeed! I have a 2004 Matrix. The Vibe looked a little too Aztecy for me, plus the Toyota was a lot cheaper at the time, but other than that...

Considering what there could have been, I'm glad that's the only wangst around. Apparently they had to come up with *something*

Regarding the nebulousness of the married - it never is stated clearly. The words "husband" and "wife" are not used. Regarding the above comment - five Potters might only mean that they had *once* been married.
