Well, that just figures. LOL Although I already have all seven seasons (bought them as they came out), I'm sure not going to go back and buy this just because it's in a pretty box.
They did the same thing with the X-Files. I bought all nine of those as they came out as well for $100-ish each. Then they came out with the "not so pretty" sets which were about half the price.
I read about this on Wil Wheaton's blog last night, and I can't say I'm surprised. That's one problem I've had with boxed DVD sets - companies will milk them for all they're worth. Look at all the different Star Wars DVD sets that have come out over the past few years. I've lost count of them.
Just watch - I'd be willing to bet that when you give up completely on Angel, they'll come out with a fancy-looking box set replete with all sorts of extras.
The new haircut was something I decided to try for the summer. Once fall hits, I'll see whether I want to keep it or not. It's very comfortable, to say the least.
Now to just sit back and watch the Pottermania continue to build...
i felt the exact same way when i read on TLC the other day that warner bros. would be releasing a "lavish multi-disc box set" of years 1-5 on blu-ray and hd-dvd for harry potter this fall. i believe i will just wait for years 1-7, because who knows what awesome box set will come out then.

If they do a Deadwood series boxed set I will kill myself. I bought each of the seasons at $80 a pop.
Like your new haircut, by the way.
