1. Yea! I want the Petrellis to live and Matt too. DL would be nice, but the other three will make me happy.
2. That seams like a LOT of episodes that wouldn't have the rest of the cast in them. Although I suppose it could be just Hiro's sections that would be in the past. That makes more sense.
3. Nathan losing his memory would be really interesting, given that he was just elected. Matt does sound like an easy choice for the alcoholic despair, which might be why it's not him. Oh, Sylar losing his memory would also be really interesting.
As to the lack of cast, NBC is holding a contest of sorts over the summer to replenish the stock of Heros. I can't find the article right now, but MSNBC posted a piece last week saying that the network plans to run hour-long "origin" episodes for a bunch of new Heros over the summer and the fans will be allowed to vote on their favorites. The winner will join the cast for the second season.
I doubt that Claude will return. A) Chris Eccelston is making The Dark is Rising movie, which is a pretty big time commitment and B) he has this strong aversion to long running charcters. That's why he only played the Doctor for one season/series and why his version of The Prisoner is only 6 episodes long.
Kristin always has the good, accurate spoilers. She rarely says something that isn't right... aka: Yay! I doubt I'd be able to continue watching if Peter died..
