The Fabulous Nancy came over last night to hang out and stitch. I'm not sure how much stitching she got done, though. We took a sojourn to Whole Foods, which was a bit melancholy for me because Rachel and I always used to do that. *sniff*
We watched the first two episodes of "Deadwood." I am determined to get someone else hooked on this show because dammit, I need someone to squee with. Not sure if she liked it or not...oh well. I have other plans for her, mwah ha ha ha. My best bet is probably
longtimegone if she could only get that far down on her Netflix queue.
Thank you for all your supportive words on yesterday's post about my writer's block. I did manage to write about a page last night (I won't say on what), so that's a start.
Given how well my Fill Up Lori's iPod posts have gone, I have a new request: Fill Up Lori's Netflix Queue. Recommend a movie to me and I will watch it (unless I already have, natch). It can be obscure or popular, indie or mainstream, any genre, classic or modern. If you can, give me something I probably haven't heard of, some movie that you love that you wish more people had seen.
And tell me whether or not I should start in on "Carnivale." I have it in the queue but I hear wildly varying opinions. I trust the flist.
