Any chance you could post a picture of what they look like? I have the same problem of having smallish ears and it hurts to have them in after a while. I'm curious what they look like, because I need some new ones for my iPod as well.

I had a startling realization last night, namely that Human Interest is now half as long as "Third."

Wow. Isn't it amazing, and a little bit scary, when you go like gangbusters on something like that? The story grips you and won't let go; all you can do is write, or think about writing, the words just coming as if of their own voilition. I had a story like that once: 20 chapters, 40k words, in just over a month. An amazing experience, one that I don't know if I will ever repeat. I wouldn't want to be possessed like that all the time, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. I hope you're enjoying yours as well, disconcerting as it may be. :)

Hey *waves hesitantly* I just sneaked in your lj. Hope you don't mind:) Brokeback Mountain got me good. And your Human Interest got me real good as well...I even printed it out. Yeah, it's long (115 pages in 7 size...) but my eyes are happier to read it on paper than on screen!
