xD I didn't care too much either way, and I never really watched college ball, but my church (which is all either UCLA or USC fans) made me watch the LA/SC game, and then I just had to cheer for the underdog lol.
Personally I was excited to see Texas in the Rose Bowl, although I usually cheer for the Big Ten school too. The Big Ten vs Pac Ten contract just started in 1947. The game had been going on since 1902 (although it wasn't until 1916 that it became an annual game). That's 45 years of Rose Bowl history before the "tradition" of Big Ten vs. Pac Ten started.
I just like to see two teams with great football traditions going at it in a classic environment such as the Rose Bowl. These past two years, with Texas there, have been some of the more interesting games I've seen ever - and that's the way it should be.
I put my vote in already... I'd always rather lose to the best team in the country than the second best team in the country. That said, I would NEVER cheer for USC, OSU (sorry) or Nebraska regardless of any scenario.
However, most of my friends are the "I hate them; they beat us; I'll never cheer for them again; I hope they go in a hole in the ground and die" types.

Don't know if that fits into the context here for the poll.
