I agree; this is a great article.

It's rather like the point that you make (subtly) in Third, that love is about people, not about a specific sort of pairing.

first off I am gay but certainly not "queer" I have lived my entire life in Montana where redneck is a compliment and if you are efemminate you are automatically labeled queer! I am just {as my friends who know me} just a dude!! I am taking the bus this morning to the only town in this state that is showing this film with high expectations of experiencing a cinimatographic masterpiece with a positive climax. However I also realize that my hopes may once again be dashed and I will have to face the fact that we really are just second class citizens {with style!!!}
