I kinda like audiography, which does a theme-of-the-week kinda thing. Sometimes I'm into the stuff they're posting, other times I'm not. It really depends on the theme and the tastes of the posters that week.

I'm not going to post a music group (because there's like ten million of them lol), but I am going to recomend a band to you. The name is Nightwish, it's a mix of metal and orchestrated music, with a soprano as the frontwoman. Amazing band it is. The song I would reccomend from them is "Ghost Love Score" in both it's vocal and instrumental form. If you'd like, I can email you buth :)

Funny you should ask. I just joined the audiography community this morning when I saw geoviki had posted some recommendations there. The current theme is world music but it seems to change weekly. Lots of links to free downloads, too.
