So, friends and neighbors, Verizon is ending unlimited data plans. You may have heard about this. I have always been a Verizon customer and I switched over to a smartphone two years ago, so I've been paying the $30 a month for my unlimited-usage data plan ( Read more... )

The only people I know that love Cars are boys under the age of 8 and they would love that merchandise, too. I wasn't impressed by the first one but I know when Damien went to piano lessons, the instructor's five-year-old son watched it over and over for months on end. I also know my aunt had to hide it from her four-year-old grandson. So I can see why they'd make a part two. I'd rather see more movies like How To Train A Dragon than have to sit through another Cars.

I've stayed away from the smartphones/data plans. I spend enough time staring at various screens, don't need to add my phone to it!

Although I don't know why the Vikings were Scottish.

A better question might be why the kids have American accents :D But truthfully, I didn't even notice the parents-with-accents, kids-with-no-accents until someone pointed it out to me.

I wondered about the kids' American accents, too. Seems like they should all have been Scottish or none.

I loved that film! And The only thing that bothered me were the accents, seriously. Didn't make any sense.

Has anyone even told Benedict Cumberbatch that he has the most amazing (and insanely BRITISH) name ever?? Probably about a million people:)

It is so very British, isn't it? As is he. Proper British schoolboy he is. Trivia fact: His parents are both actors, his father uses the last name Carlton (I think that's his middle name, and it's Benedict's, too). He started out using Carlton then an early agent of his said, why not use your real name? It's a real attention-grabber. Which it is!

One of the (many) Benedict-dedicated tumblr accounts is subtitled "His name is better than yours." HA.

I worried about the downgrading to 2G per month until I realized that's the same thing AT&T did last year. I figured if the myriad iPhone users weren't bitching to the heavens about overage charges, I didn't have a whole lot to worry about.

I think it's to stop people who tether their cells to their laptops, but that's just my guess.

Yeah, 2G is a lot of data streaming, apparently.
