I love Tom and Lorenzo, and I think they're dead on regarding fashion vs design. It certainly makes as much sense as the judges smoking the crackpipe.
I, too, feel badly for Gretchen, but that collection... ugh. No. And Mondo's! It was so cheery! And innovative and unusual! Argh. Don't worry, Mondo, everyone still loves you and wants to buy your clothing. You'll be absolutely fine.
Maybe this just counts as one of my freakish aspects, but I think slang and LOLspeak and such can include words/phrases that grate on a person, no matter how purposeful the ... ungrammaticalness. :oD Certainly there has been more than one such item that irked me, even though I knew that the bad punctuation or misusage or whatever was purposeful. Actually, it may even make it worse, if it entertains others to the point where it is used all the time. The sheer onslaught can make a person want to go hide from it! :o)
One of mine, btw, which I imagine you've seen a lot more of in the last year or so, is "loose" instead of "lose". Usually I see it in regard to weight loss. "So far I've taken off 45 pounds in two weeks. I'm really excited about that, even though I know I have a lot more to loose!"
Bravo replayed the Season 3 finale yesterday, and I happened to watch the judging/winner announcement. They said Laura's clothes were sophisticated and detailed. They said Uli's clothes would sell. Then Jeffrey won because his clothes were the most innovative. The judges' priorities have definitely changed.

I agree. Mondo should have won. I'm just happy that he won the $20k from the photoshoot challenge.
