Well, no place to park the armored car, and I have all the bullets I need for now (really- I had to lug it all to the storage unit and I think I must have overbought just a little- at least 4 cases of M193 and 3 cans of South African M80, plus a bunch of stuff in at least 5 other calibers)
Gold just feels good. And it is pretty.
I bought a 1902-S $20 Liberty Head today at auction for about 5% over melt ($672), a coin that could easily sell for $850! Also a 1910 $5 Indian Head Half Eagle for $245 that conservatively is worth $375.
Vintage coins are cool, but I still think my armored cars are more fun. And practical too. You know, there's some Marmon-Herrington Armored cars for sale. £6,000 even. That's a steal!
