I asked, and the salesman said "We don't do that kind of appliance."
My cooktop was allegedly received at the Lowes warehouse in Oakland yesterday, and will allegedly be delivered either tomorrow or Friday. They won't commit to that, because the delivery will wait until they have enough product to make a truckload!
I was told Tuesday last week that it was in route, would arrive Friday and be delivered to the store yesterday.
Yeah really, the a-holes @ Lowes totally screwed up the installation of a counter top I contracted through them. Then they had the gall to ask me to complete a long ass customer service review over the phone; in short I told them to get stuffed.
Too bad they don't sell shredders big enough for them (or at least their gonads). I usually deal with 'Friedmans' or 'Contra Costa appliance' out here in the easy bay, they're pretty good about taking care of business. Though, they might be a bit for far for you city types.

Three weeks after I cancelled the order I received a customer survey card in the mail. I shredded it.
