Mmmmm! I'm determined to get back into my healthy food and lotsa working out so I can reduce this durn belly.

I plan on making one of these tomorrow night. I'll take photos and such. :3

I can't vouch for the other recipes but the one for the chicken or pork chili verde is pretty much the recipe I use. Of course, in this part of the country, we use chili verde in place of many gravies. It's very good on potatoes (yeah, I know, high carbs) and scrambled eggs (safe for huskies), on hamburgers, you name it.

The Cub did not have soy beans. Are you sure they're not the same thing as black beans? Anyway, they did have a brand of refried beans that are pretty low carb. "La Preferida with Chorizo", so they're a little hot. Tell me what you think:
1/2 cup serviing = 140 cal
total fat = 5g
total carb = 16g
(minus) fiber = 10g
(Net carb of 6g per serving)
protine = 8g
<1g sugar.
Does the math work out on this or is "La Preferida" a great big liar head; you be the judge.
I was thinking of smearing it upon my low carb tortillas with cheese and getting down with my bad self on Cinco De Mayo.
