Hee! I loved that line! I'm not remotely used to reading in this fandom (never mind that it was my absolute fav show as a kid -- d'you know how bloody long ago that was?) but I really enjoyed this!

Yeah - I know EXACTLY how long ago it was - released in the USA in 1977.
One of the reasons I adore the Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets fandom so much is because most of the members are my age (and most of them came into fandom through Battle)
If you want to read some really good fic in this fandom - visit www.gatchfanfic.com - there is some absolutely awesome stuff out there.
I'm glad you liked my little christmas offering. I forgot completely to post it to my LJ (and you can see that I've forgotten a few recently) - but better late than never.
